Chad we might be interested in going, especially with a different group of people. The other group finally posted some info but the room is expensive and they are charging for everything and BBQ on the beach? The first BB trip we had the meal at the beach and everything got sand in it...and the wind was not blowing...not a good idea. LMK if I can help with anything...it would be great to have this trip and another one in Oct.

DSB or BB? I would not use the old sand. When I set-up my 280g, I tried to rinse my sand...it is incredibly hard to rinse 300# of sand and we never got the stench out, so we used new sand and just seeded it. I would use as much old water as possible and do as much move at one time as humanly possible.

Chad, I don't know if you guys want to consider it but I am putting together a trip for October, to take advantage of less costly accommodations being off-season. You guys are more than welcome to come. I will not participate in the other club's trip. They have not posted any info about it to their group or any other that normally attends. If they haven't put anything together as of yet, they won't be getting much help with accommodations this late. LMK if you are interested...
