  4. Ya unfortunately any "ideas" anyone has given you , you have shrugged off so ya do your own thing smile.png. But really that design of a sump is not effecient at all. I have no idea where you are going to put your skimmer, which can't go in something that tall and would be scared about building a skimmer that height. Also something that deep your not going to be able to grow macro in with jsut a clamp light, there will not be enough light penetrating down to the bottom. I am having a little problem with that right now with a 29 tall sump i made ! You are taking what you think to be the "easy" way but in fact you are making it harder and eventually more expensive on yourself. DIY sumps cost maybe 5-10 after you find a used tank ( again less than a 1$ a gallon most times) and are really fun to build with no experience necessary. Most sumps are KISS method. Skimmer /return / refuge not much to them at all. don't be lazy and do it right the first time.

  5. The main source of GHA is going to be excess nutrients in your system. How often/what do you feed? and whats you filtration look like? Cutting back on feedings will help and maybe bump the water changes to like 20% for the next 2 months or so. It'll take a little while but with good upkeep you can choke it out.

  6. yes you should. This happens alot on here. Many people scout the site all day long and post 2 mins after someone has posted something and feel they get "dibs" since they responded first. For that reason and yours I no longer give things away and sell to those i WANT to sell to, not just who Dibs first. Keep those people in mind, for the next round of sales.
