Yeah ours ate ghost shrimp as well

I never noticed any of my shrimps missing in that tank during its stay. Had a couple peppermints and cleaners. Don't think it ate any hermits either.

I had to baby sit my brother's once and it ate my firefish. The firefish was a bit longer than the lion so when I found them the firefish was barely sticking out of his mouth. This all happened pretty quickly after introducing the lion fish.

Yep, I have mostly sps so I need a little bit of light. Right now they are running 8hrs a day, I plan to bump it up soon to 9

Are you just running the kessils alone or do you have some other lights as well?

Anyone interested in some of these wire managers they're gonna be tossed pretty soon. Free or small frag trades but not required. The 7' ones can be broken down and the smaller ones are about 19".

I think honesty is what makes me appreciate the store the most but also the presentation of the overall look (clean tanks, healthy fish...) Friday I went down to San Antonio to pick up a fish from Mr Cob and decided to go check out the stores. I have to say we're pretty lucky to have such great stores here in Austin. The one store I liked a little didn't have me leaving with that same feeling. They did have probably the cheapest prices I've seen in a lfs which included Achilles, chevron, & purple tang for less than 200 bucks. But when I asked for some help I couldn't help but notice the smell of liquor. I can't say that the eemployee was for sure under the influence but he did seem "off". The store was located in a shady looking area. When we were leaving there were some guys outside drinking and smoking but like I said I didnt want to think that an employee was drunk while at work right?

Thanks for the input James. I'm thinking of doing the same then maybe adding a super actinic down the road. It's time for some new bulbs so I'd rather invest on some new lights.

Sounds pretty similar to what I have in my tank. Which fixtures do you have? After the lecture at c4 I've been kind of hooked on clams as well lol so ill probably end up buying one in the near future

Thanks for the info tim. It's a 4' 120g if that matters any. I'm pretty happy with my t5s my biggest dilemma is the fact that ill have to keep replacing bulbs. I have considered getting another t5 or halide fixture though the life expectancy and efficiency is what is swaying me towards LEDs and I've heard pretty good things about the build my LEDs which is why I'm leaning towards these.
