I'm sorry, but I don't have any pics to show. I linked to our club myssct.com and posted his thread. It has like two pics in it.

Te pics are a couple of posts down and aren't very good, but you get the idea of what the stand looks like.

I don't have any pics, but there are two very old ones on myscct.com in the large tank section. I don't know if he would be interested in parting out just yet, and it's a standard 210. I think 72x24x30?

Im posting this for PokerFace due to him moving and not having internet right now. Everything is located in Copperas Cove.
Its a 210 reef ready with dual internal overflows. Unknown brand/age but in great condition.
Iron or Aluminum stand with magnetic panels.
Homemade Wet/dry sump around 20+/- 10 gallons.
Skimmer rated for 300 gallons (unknown brand) with a Sedra 5000 pump off of a ASM G3 skimmer.
The light is a Coralife 6x96w power compact fixture with moonlights.
3x Blue stunner strips.
2x Koralia 4's
70w MH with a 14k bulb for the Refugium. This grew his refuge like crazy, its was so dense you could barely put your hand in it.
Return pump is a Coralife Turbo C energy saved model. Its an external pump with 1268 GPH.
Comes with a ReefKeeper Elite with 1 pc4 and all the other stuff that came with it. The head unit is messed up and needs to be replaced.
Has a battery Back up.
And a new bucket of coralpro salt.
Will also come with a good amount of dead rock.
You can call 254-238-2271 for more info.

Lou is a good guy to deal with. He always has the best stuff, and pretty good prices too.

I live in copperas cove, and could hold some corals for you if it's closer to travel from Houston to here than Austin. I have a 180 with a mix of everything mostly LPS and SPS an a light bioload.
-
Oh yeah texting or calling is the easiest way to get ahold of me.
254-247-6691 my name is eldon.

Ok I have 6 heads of green candy canes for sale or trade. There are 3 main stalks with 2 heads a peice. A little smaller than a baseball I guess. I would like $20 for it, or trade for some other kind of LPS. I live in copperas cove, about an hour away from Austin.
-
So what did you decide to do?
-
A quick smack with a hammer should break it off. But if I was you I would leave it. It will color up and look just like rock eventually, and it will be a conviniant place to mount corals still.

I had a 250w 2x65w pc fixture for about 2 years from them. I can't complain a bit about it. The only reason I don't have it anymore is becuase upgraded to a 180 and it came with a light. The oddysea 15k bulbs were nice too. Thinking about buying from them to replace my xm 10k's when the time comes.
-
You can, but the actual bulb holder is alot smaller for a 150w than for a 250w. It's doable, but it's probably not worth it.

I soak myfood in garlic xtreme, but I wonder if I'm doing it wrong. I take a chunk of frozen home made food and put it in a glass of tank water to defrost. I put a couple of dropsnot the garlic in the glass while it's defrosting, then when it's all broke up (usually a couple of minutes) I use a turkey Baster to feed with. You see anything wrong with how I do it?
-
I guess it was about 3 days. I was working so I didn't really notice that he was dead until it was way too late. I have probably 50 crabs, 2 conch's, sand sifting stars, Nass snails, turbo snails.
-
I would do water changes every couple of days. That's pretty much the key to fixing anything in this hobby.
-
I had the exact same thing happen in my 180. A 3.5" yellow eye kole tang died from ich, and I didn't think it was that big of a deal. It spiked my ammonia and that coupled with ichbon my other fish just about wiped out my livestock. Went from 13 fish to 3 in less than a week. With water changes. Just a helpful (hopefully) warning.
-
Lol I had set aside some money just for when you broke down the tank so I could come back and get some rock, but life happened. This is some really really nice rock, worth every penny.
-
Wow I have the reefkeeper lite and never had a problem with it. I hadn't updated anything, and it is just an expensive timer. But it was mainly for a controller for my heater. Still works perfect after a couple of months service.
-
The rock in this tank is amazing. It's like a blanket of coraline laid on it. The welso I got from you is doing great. Looks amazing in my tank.
-
It really depends. It doesn't last long though. Most likely a month or two tops. You will keep getting it on your glass forever though, that's a pain in the ***.
-
These are really nice. Pick some up while you have the chance for this deal. He has some really nice tanks too.
-
This is a really nice tank guys. Bump.

Have youtried getting a hippo from someone who is selling there's vs. getting them from a store. I have terrible luck with any fish I get at a store, so I try to only buy from local people who are selling a fish.

Sorry. The tank is in great condition, the stand isn't pretty, but very easy to get to everything. The skimmer isn't a really good one, but it gets the job done. The head unit is messed up on the reefkeeper. If you want more info, or offer a different price, just call him up and ask him.
