Have not updated much been super bust with work so I thought I would take a few pics and give an update. Tank is looking good corals are still growing and looking good. Late addition was 4 anthias love the activity they have brought to the tank. But the four anthias have created an identity crisis in my tank can you see it? I took the picture with only the blue LEDs to make it a little harder
And her a fts with the blues
Man the coralline algae just won't stop- 1

PVC or bulbs in top box I would guess rodi in right box (but assume you already have one) so going to guess rock in both boxes

The most expensive three additions I've ever made to my tank. Hopefully they turn out as stunners!
What are they?????

Maybe the new system just not stable enough for the nems. I always heard wait 6 months before adding a nem don't know the reason for sure but I have always stuck to this rule and has worked for me. Is the mouth gaping open from the picture it looks like it might be trying to expell its guts

Maybe just the missing overflow is why it looks so different

Are you completely reaquascaping or are you going to try to recreate the old rock structure? And where is all your old rock?

My guess would be the kelvin output of the two different lights

In my experience high flow areas also help to aide growing coralline so is there a different flow rate in the two tanks.

And now after almost a year of having my nem in the same place he has decided to start moving hope he doesn't decide to move very far.
Oh yeah and I have a missing pink spotted goby haven't seen him in about 2-3 days he didn't jump unless he jumped in the over flow no idea where he went though

Well just an update I have been battling some bubble algae but this stuff is huge seems like a bubble algae gigantis strain or something.
Got it from not changing a frag plug from c4 it had been manageable until my skimmer went out and then it exploded. Now I seem to pull out and the next day there is more then I pulled out. Guess it is time to try out this vibrant stuff people have been talking about.
Wondering if anyone has some left over they are trying to get rid of?

What just a super high concentrated version? I have seen surface scum looks more like clear oil on the surface of the water with a bit of agitation goes away this stuff was thick and would break up but you could still see in floating around.
Sorry for the reference but looked as if a large animal tried to mate with my tank and left all his baby making juice in my return pump section. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

After pulling out the film on the top of my return section it came out and was really a gelitan (can't spell lol) form some fell back and got sucked up by my return. Wasn't able to get any pics but it was clear out of the water but in the water looked a bit milky looking any ideas of what this was?

Well was doing some work under the tank today and it dawned on me I don't here my skimmer. Went to check it out and couldn't see any bubbles and realized it wasn't on but it was plugged in. After some inspections a snail was on the intake. I got the snail off and still didn't work I had one of those ah #¥£€ moments. Yanked it out and did a deep cleaning plugged it back and and it didn't turn back on if I was seriously about to yank the skimmer back out and smash it to pieces when in kicked on as soon as I reached for it. Dodged a bullet on that one.
Which got me thinking how long has it been off. Ran it for 6 hours and I could have sworn the clearity of the water seemed a lot better (probably all in my head)
In my return pump section of my sump is a thin slimy film on the top of the water but no where else in the tank. I will try to pull it out manually and keep an eye on thing the next couple days hope nothing get too messed up.
