So you have one or both for sale? I'd prefer both. I know how to bag also. Thanks. Pm me.

  2. they look too white to me, kinda like a blank page

Ah, I didn't get the joke when I read it in an email. NOW i see there's no photo. doh.gif

Let's try this again. It's a crappy picture but it was growing on the coraline and a fish at Aquatek ate a few. There's still a large clump but the back of the rock could be shoved into a cave wall.

  3. I have a small rock with 30+ heads of ice blue zoo's I'm looking to trade. The rock is too big for my biocube (aesthetically not size-wise). I'm looking to trade for some different frags. 3 frags would be great. I'd like some ricordea or other zoo's. I have an LED light set up and my water runs about 78-80. I think that's a little high but I'm working on that. Let me know.

  4. Hmm, Tomorrow afternoon? What part of town are you in? I live by the Domain, but if you're north too then I can get them earlier than later. I have a photoshop presentation to give at 2 which should last for 2 hours. If you live south, I'll pass. It's ACL and I won't even try to head south until Monday.

  5. It took forever for me to breakdown my biocube. Part of it was laziness, part of it was waiting for a new tank to cycle so I could keep Ralph, my South American Puffer. I ended up giving him to Melissa and he's a lot happier. I was going to try and switch my 8g SW custom tank and the 29g FW Biocube. Kind of confusing and a big hassle. Let alone the 29 was on a table and the stand for it was on the opposite side of my office. Once I broke it down, I had to clean and reorganize my office. I was at the mercy of my lovely wife, who graciously helped me knock it out in a few hours last Sunday afternoon.

Then, in a comedy of errors, I was unable to get live rock for it for a couple of days. FINALLY, I seized the opportunity on Wednesday and Craig at Aquatek helped me pick out some choice pieces of vanuatu live rock. I had a 5lb piece already in the 8g, so I only had to buy about 13 more pounds. I'm ignoring the pound to gallon ration and leaving more swimming space for the future residents. I had a lot of fun rockscaping and I built a little cave in the back. gallery_1393_253_895748.jpg

  6. Jeff thank you so much! Ralph is buzzing around with his bew buddy full of brine shrimp, just as happy as can be. When I introduced him into the tank, Egor swam right up and looked at him with his big eye and they stayed together all night. This morning both were playing in the plants with each other, hunting for breakfast

That's so awesome. I'm sure he was lonely in that tank all by himself. Thanks for taking care of him.

  7. However, I have never heard of transitioning a Colomesus asellus into full marine, only slightly brackish ~1.005.

Me either. Anyway he is on his way to a brakish tank on the southside as we speak. Thanks for the interest.

    Sold.

  8. Do you know if it can it be acclimated to saltwater?

No, brakish at the saltiest. I've give him a salt dip before when he had ick. He started to float so I quickly got him back into fresh water. That was months ago so clearly he's fine.
