I will be moving to Houston in July, and therefore i will need to more my tank. However, i do not want to attempt to move all of my coral and fish in one day as the last time i did this i lost 90%, so i am wondering if any of yall would let me board my corals and fish with you while im moving and setting up my tank in Houston (1-2 weeks).

I know this is early, but i just want to start planning this stuff. I would be happy to frag some of my stuff as payment.

sorry to hi-jack the thread, but does anyone know if you can do a rock wall on the bottom of your tank? instead of having sand just cover the bottom in the "rock wall" material" that way it looks better than a bare bottom but without all of the negatives of sand

I think it would be a great idea if we had an issue with too much volume on this site. however i think with the volume we have a seperate forum would not be necessary, now if we had a nano photo contest or something like that, that would be cool.

A separate forum for tank builds might be cool though.

got it working, but i think i may have just been a tank hypochondriac. as my new coralvue dim-able ballast looks just like my old oddysea electronic ballast.

i may jump in as well if mark can pick up my stuff for me?

If your oddysea fixture has same power plugs like mine (computer power cord F/M adapter), then you can go find an unuse or buy a new computer power cord at Radioshack or Frys then splice the cord to ballast for connection to the fixture.

I assume i just hook the same colored wires together? green with green, white with white, and black with black?
