    So I found out my med school room mate has a 135 gal fresh tank..... I guess I'll have to convert him

      Nah, FW is easy, get a few SA or CA cichlids in there for personality. You wont have time to maintain a SW.

      im bringing my sw with me (i made the mistake of taking it down when i went to college) My tank is automated enough right now that the only maintenence i do besides feeding every 3-4 days is a 5 gal water change and replenishing of top off water once a week (takes less than 45 min)
