Nice kingfish. In response to the echinata preference: i think it completely depends on the specific species. I have some lords that are very vibrant in color as well as echinatas. It simply depends on a case to case basis. Both very cool corals. Prior to being able to collect the lord in japanese waters they were quite expensive and the rare/exciting colors still go for quite a bit.

i have a flame in my tank. granted it has a lot to nibble at without causing any significant damage, but i only had a problem with it when i first added it to the tank. i got it from Brian (kingfish) so i knew it was reef safe. once i got acclimated and used to the nightly feedings- its been a great addition to the reef.

radioshack has cheap digital termometers that keep track of your max and mins that you can reset as often as you'd like. they are made for spas.
