  1. Thanks for the coral Dena. I was wondering- are these mushrooms safe around fish? I noticed there was kind of a neon hair like objects on the mushroom, and my blue damsel picked at it, swallowed it, and eventually died last night. I'm certain that the fish was healthy because he's normally very active, and after he ate that small filament he hid in his hole the entire time and wouldn't accept food (which he normally devours). Should I not get another damsel?

Auto top off. When the water evaporates from the open top, fresh water from the bottles dribbles in via gravity.
  3. Simply awesome. Very funny. This could almost be on national geographic.

    Tommy's Pico

This pico was heinously copied from Wawawang's QT on nano-reef.com: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=216662&view=findpost&p=2570215 Once I saw his, I couldn't take my eyes off it! I liked it so much, I replicated it, down to the auto top off bottles and livestock. My lack of originality doesn't bother me at all. I love this tank!
  5. WTB 1 small torch head, 1 small xenia head. I'm not in a hurry, just looking for a good price!
  6. Thanks Vash- but yesterday Efrain gave me a square of neon GSP and Gorilla Nipple Zoas. What a guy! Appreciate it through!
  7. Thanks for all of the responses. Ive been wary of trusting everything I read, but everyone here is pretty consistent. I'll probably end up getting an rodi in a few weeks. Maybe the mighty mite.
  8. I'm new to the hobby and would like to start out with some hardy corals. Looking to buy: 1 small torch head 1 small square of GSP 3-5 Sexy Shrimp PM me!
  9. Hello, I'm new to the forums and the hobby. I'm starting a nano tank. My goal is to have just two small corals and some inverts. I want to keep my livestock very happy and uncrowded, but don't want to go overboard with buying lots of equipment. I plan on getting: 1 torch head GSP Sexy Shrimp Standard CUC My question is, could I get away with using tap water using anti-chlorine drops if I live in cedar park? I found my district's Water Quality Report and it says average Chloramine levels are 1.7 ppm. How is that? Is that an acceptable number? There's also some trace levels of copper it looks like, but I can't make out how much there is, and if that's a negligible amount. Could someone help me out? Thanks!
