  1. Well the stock thickness is easy, you just have to explain to joe blow the way paper 'weight' is determined by parent sheet size, and then they will totally understand why a 67#VB is around the same thickness as a 110# index, and both feel thinner than a 65# Cover. Oh, and the 80# cover is similar to the 100# color copy coated cover. I don't even bother anymore. <end print talk>

(sorry I have no input for the light question)

bunch of nerds( Im just joking) yall know too much about paper

  2. I like engineer gobies , and clown gobies they both stay very small, fishy business had some yellow clown gobies Friday and six lines however I wouldn't recommend them for you're tank I would recommend something from the gobie family, or the tailspot blennie I don't know how big they get but if u want a wrasse the flasher and fairy wrasses are gentler and pack alot of color

  3. Im pretty sure its ich I dont know anything else that drops off at night and comes back during the day, it can be pretty common to get ich right after buying a fish because of the stress of being caught mostly and transported, if it only has a few spots I would just turn youre heater up a little hotter because that will shorten the ichs life cycle, if it gets about a third covered thats when u need to try meds because his life will start to be in danger

  4. i have used mice traps to catch rat with corn supper glued to them i used corn because thats what they were already eating they were chewing through my feed bags, but the reason for the mouse traps instead of rat traps is they take less weight to set them off the mouse traps almost always kill the rat dead on the spot but sometimes they take the trap with them but i dont think a rat with a trap around its neck is going to live long

  5. they do look just like pill bugs, or a horseshoe crab without the tail, i would put them in the sump or fuge if u have one, if they get sucked into the display tank thats just free food

  6. the pill bud lokking things could actually be a form of pill bug I know that there is an under water pill bug ( proper name is wood louse, thought I would throw that in there) the are huge and live on the bottom deep in the ocean, so there might be a smaller type

  7. my pink skunk loves my 2 condys, I know most dont like condys but I think they look nice and they are cheap (7 dollars), I havent had them but about 5 months now and I definatly have to feed them because my lighting is only a single t8 with a powerglo bulb

  8. the reason u can not find a male is because they are hermaphroditic harum schoolers wich means they live in one male, multiple female schools. when a male is needed the dominate female changes from a female to a male; so your female-female pair might become a mated pair.

  9. do u think that my tank can support one after I finish my 10gallon refugium for the 20gal, I have 25-30lbs of live rock in the main tank and I am going to put atleast 10 more in the fuge along with some chaeto to help grow pods because thats the only reason I am setting up the fuge

  10. I know that all fish are able to be eaten by an anemone but the mandarins were the only fish that actually said in the book not to keep them with anemones, I was just wondering if the were more prone to being eaten

  11. has anyone here kept a dragonet other than one of the mandarins, my question is are the others as suseptable to being eaten by anemones, the book I have says about all of the mandarins, not to keep them with anemones for this reason, but doesnt say it about the other dragonets, I want a green mandarin, but I have two condies, so I was thinking about a scooter

  12. Hi my name is Chris, I got into sw a little over a year ago with my 20 gallon, and 10 months ago I started a 10 gallon fwlr tank thats all damsels, I have a question about the site someone has some chaeto that I want for the 10gal refugium that I am setting up, but I dont know what pm is or how to do it I need to know that to claim it

  13. the fishbowl is in downtown temple, they dont keep much past the basics but are willing to order most things, I liked aquapets the first few times I went but there sw selection went to almost nothing after it was sold

  14. i cant remeber what the name is but it is an anemone and its not considered harmful i have some in my tank so i seeked an answer, look at live rock hitch hickers, u will figure out what a lot of things are on youre rock and will have u looking for other things , the anemone can come in different color tints I have seen orange and green
