Johnny Rooter just left. I now have 2 open drains and $187 less to show for it.
Quick work and the guy wants to start a reef tank now...
Johnny Rooter is one of my customers for computer repair, good bunch of people there.
In regards to pest control, call HomeTeam Pest Defense. http://www.pestdefense.com/ I use them every quarter. No bugs...ever.

Yet another service I didn't know you provided.
We should make a new topic with all the services he provides, and add to it when we find out about new ones

I have a contact @ Alpha Graphics.
We should put reef_pug in a fish costume, and set him in the front yard :-D

Chat rooms in the past were not successful. Sorry, not going to add another one.
Ah, didnt know you had before

if really valued, I would recommend making a "vacation" of it. Fly there, get the fish, fly back

Wooops. Sorry I get carried away. Been researching seahorses all night.
I think the wifey wants a nano strictly for seahorses and pipefish.
-
I guess I better put one in
You could make that a lil "enhanced" with some brightness/contrast adjustment. Download picasa http://picasa.google.com. run the "I'm feeling lucky" on this photo
Reguardless, beautiful :-P

yeah, but I know in the past ones have been submitted that weren't taken by the submitter. Just think it'd add something to see what is in local tanks around town.
...and these pics are amazing...
I see how you get so many posts in one day...

Has anyone here ever ordered from them before?
My brother has, he swore by them..told me I should always use them if I order online for livestock...

Is this the dreaded enemy?
I fired off an email to the Wet Web Media folks to get their input. It looks like what they call Cyano and/or blue green algae. Though clearly it's not blue or green.
Curiously enough, it only showed up after the GHA has decreased. I also noticed some Calupera popping back up.
w/e it is, it's pretty

I'll play.

Your rock should be fine as far as the problem you are facing. You'll end up picking up more as you get frags. You also might want to check with prof and get some "dead rock" to add to your current setup. Its a lot cheaper and will get seeded by the rest of the rock over time. For a reef I would be looking at at least 40 pounds but that's more for long term health and certainly shouldn't be killing off fish like you are seeing.
For the drip I forgot to mention, get one of the $1.99 veggie clips to hold the tube in the tank with.
For your pump you just need to know the Gallons Per Hour (GPH) and divide by the size of your tank. Recommended for soft corals/polyps is 10x water flow or higher. So your tank water is being filtered through your system 10 times per hour or more.
You stole my thunder

Is anyone else here using a Super skimmer 125? i just started using one and OMG the micro bubbles are driving me nuts. this thing makes more micro bubbles that i have ever seen. i have used the Super Skimmer 65 from day 1 and it doesnt do this.. anyone have the same problem or does anyone have a remedy? other than a bubble trap? as i dont even thing a bubble trap would fix this...
Are you using this in a sump? I'm no veteran, but I understand the return pump should be far away from the output on the skimmer within the sump. Or if you cant seperate them, place a piece of foam between the two. Again, I'm no expert on the subject. You may also take a look at your hoses, make sure your not getting any turbulance anywhere. Or have any air leaks.

Just wanted to give a heads up, I subscribe to several newsletters for fishy stuffs, and found that saltwaterfish.com is having their 10th anniversary sale. (not trying to advertise, just thought I would share.)
