Do you have any harlequin shrimp?
-
Do you have a frag of about 3-4 heads of the blasto's, if so which one is it in the pic? Also, how big is each head?
-
I'll give it a shot.

Yeah I hear you! Its THE nastiest thing that could die in your tank. Especially when you dont know and you grab it and it goes everywhere. Its just really gross.
Sorry about the loss though.

Congrats! Great pic, and amazing ric.
Whats the prize?
-
What kind of anemone is it? Where did you get it?
-
Ok great.

What about anytime during the week?
-
Garrett-Im in Georgetown so its not that far at all. Whens the best time for you?
-
Im still interested in some small frags. Where are you located?
-
Its up to you with the lighting. There are a ton of fixtures out there.
Right now I have an 8G and a 1G and they are super easy to keep. I started with a 2.5G, even though its not reccommended, but I wanted to get feel for SW before spending loads of money on larger setups. If you are just starting out I would do something similiar to what I did. Just a 2.5G AGA and the stock hood with a 20W 50/50 Coralife Bulb, and an AquaClear 20 Power filter.
But whatever you decide to do, make sure you do your research first.
Hope this helps!

Ok Thanks! There isnt any black on his face, just on his body. There is no black on the stripes either so its not any kind of burn or anything.

Beautiful tank!!!
Cant wait to see it in person! Im doing pretty good. How about yourself?
Is your fiddler active? I just got mine and it seems to hide alot now.
Those green palys on the other page are amazing! Let me know if you ever frag a couple polyps. How big are they?

Ok cool. Thanks Cindy!
The thing is, is that in the past week it has gotten more and more black pigments. It started around the head and is moving all the way down the back and body. Will it eventually be solid black on the body?

Hello everyone,
Ive had this clown for about 5 months now. I bought him when he was less than 1in long and now he is about 2 1/2in. When I bought him he looked like an O. Clown. But now he is starting to get these black splotches around his stripes and it looks like he might be a Percula Clown after all.
Not the best pics but oh well.
Here are some pics:
Is this an O. Clown or a Percula?
Thanks!

ps-Great clowns! Where are they in that tank?
-
Yeah that was during the sale. Now the price is probably up, or they might have sold all of them.

I dont think that when he mixed the water makes any difference. I have always mixed my water right before using it and I have never had a problem.
I have heard of this happening with xenia where people lose all of their xenia for no reason.
-
Ok cool. I will check out both places. Anywhere else?
-
Ok cool. Thanks!

Hello everyone,
Im looking for some sexy shrimp for my pico. I would like a trio.
Do any of the sponsors ever get any in? If not, is there anyway to order them?
Thanks!

Background Info:
I've always wanted a tank with MH lighting, and this was it. I started to plan for my 3rd tank to upgrade from my 8G BioCube to a 10G AGA w/ 70W MH lighting. The BioCube wasn't cutting it anymore, and I wanted to move on to more difficult things like SPS and clams. I also wanted to have it set up like a pennisula tank, so it can be viewed from the front, and I can see it when I am sitting at my desk.
Tank Specs:
Tank:10G AGA
Light:70W SunPod MH Fixture w/ mounting legs
Filtration/Circulation:Koralia Nano, and a Whisper In-tank filter
Dosing:
B-Ionic 2Part-2.5mL of each daily
Feeding:
Phyto-Once a week
Pellets-a small pinch in the morning
I feed the GBTA about once every 1-2 weeks in an effort to hopefully keep the growth fairly slow.
Livestock:
Corals:
Xenia
Anthelia
GSP
Pink/Green/Orange Pocillopora
Green Pocillopora(added 5/30)
Rainbow Birdsnest(added 5/30)
Acropora Gomezi(added 5/30)
Freebie Acro(added 5/30)
Pink/Green Tipped frogspawn(added 5/31)
Inverts:
GBTA clone-It was about 1 1/2in when I got it a few months ago, now its 2in
Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
2 Crocea Clams(added 5/30)
Fish:
Oc. Clown
**Disclaimer!** I just bought a Canon Powershot S5 IS today so I am still getting used to the whole thing. Hints would be helpful!
Onto the pics!
There is a little bit of surface film but I have great flow so I don't know why.
