  3. +1; If it looks like the picture, I believe this is Oxynoe antillarum... Another forum mentions that this particular slug possibly feeds on Caulerpa (specific type not mentioned).
  4. Very nice. Did you make the float valve holder, or is this something that can be purchased? Thanks for sharing!
  5. I have had success using lighting gels, which I picked up at a music store. These gels have lasted over 10 years over small incandescent bulbs that I use that are almost the same size as LEDs with no noticeable fading.
  6. Sweet. Did you order any hermits/etc that require special care? Let me know, we need to get those in your tank as quick as humanly possible if so. Just a heads up. My order had included chitons as well. Thanks!
  7. My order is complete as well for $19.51. Thank you Mindflux for coordinating this group buy!
  8. I am in for approximately $23 and live in the north Austin area. If possible, I would like to combine my order with the one in east Round Rock.
  9. I am interested in participating in a group buy or combining orders.
  10. Looking for small to medium tuxedo urchin that has been in someone's tank. If you have one available, please pm me details and asking price. Thank you.
  11. Available for sale one Sea Hare. Approximately 3"-4". Asking price $15. Details: Care Level: Expert Only Temperament: Peaceful Water Conditions: 72-78° F, dKH 8-12, pH 8.1-8.4, sg 1.023-1.025 Max. Size: 1' Color Form: Black, Tan Diet: Herbivore Origin: Indo-Pacific Family: Aplysidae Overview: The body of the Dwarf Sea Hare is a combination of speckles and patterns. The location of its rhinophores (organ used to smell) and its oral tentacles make it look a bit like a rabbit, hence its common name.If it becomes startled, it may release a purple dye to repel attacking fish. In the home aquarium, the Sea Hare will need a good chemical filter system to quickly remove this toxic dye before it causes problems. In the wild, it is usually found in shallow areas of seagrasses and coral rubble, preferring the shaded areas. Cover from the lights in the aquarium should be provided. It requires a large area in which to move. It prefers an aquarium with live rock and open sandy areas so that it can graze on algae, eating any Caulerpa in the tank. It is sensitive to high levels of copper-based medications and will not tolerate bad water conditions (high nitrates). If regular feedings of Caulerpa are not possible, it will need a supplemented diet of parboiled lettuce and dried kelp.
  12. Bump. Lowering asking price to $10.

  14. Exhibiting an unhealthy obsession with moleskines.

  15. Available for sale one, used EShopps Super Spy Coral Viewer. It floats! A few very small scratches here and there. Perhaps someone can buff these out? Pickup preferred. Asking price $15. 16. I used to prop open the door in the lid and sit an Azoo fan over the opening. The Azoo had 2 x 80mm computer fans in it. Before I had the fan, I propped open the lid and sat a table fan next to the tank to blow over the water surface.
  17. I believe it is an elephant slug, Scutus antipodes. http://www.seaslugforum.net/showall/scutus
