wwarriner
So, I bought a nano wavebox for my 90g because I thought it would be cool and the nano wavebox is rated from 40g to 150g. I was able to get a 1/2 inch wave but it just wasn't what I was looking for. The wavebox isn't even 2 days old right now and I'm asking $300. That's $62 less than what I paid for it. Reybeast
wouldnt it be cheaper to send it back?
wwarriner
Can't return it once it touches water.
+Daniel
I'm getting a wave close to 2" on my 90g. Have you tried to dial it in to its sweet spot? There's usually one sweet spot where the waves are very intense. I know Mark (reef_pug) likes his a lot too (also on a 90g). Maybe try adjusting the placement of the box? Unless you have a ton of live rock, I think you can expect to see something bigger than a 1/2".
wwarriner
Well, I got it dialed in a little better and I am starting to like it a lot. So......I'm gonna keep it for a while.

+Daniel
Also, one of my biggest motivations for getting a Wavebox was seeing Reef_pug's polyp extension... admittedly, the water is just sloshing around, but SPS corals seem to love it.
