Gonzobob Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 First, Nice shots. I just haven't had the patients yet to even try fish shots. Not really a camera guy but here's my 2 cents. While this may be more problematic for fish shots turning off all circulation a couple minutes before shooting should leave a clearer shot. On your first shot cropping the pic would leave a better result and let you cut the flare (or what ever it's called) thats top center. mdavis735 Posted September 21, 2009 Author Share Posted September 21, 2009 good one.i didnt even take the time to notice the flare from the lights on that first pic.i actually cropped everything out except the fish and that made the fish way to grainy.so i didnt even bother to crop after that.oops.lol. GKarshens Posted September 21, 2009 Share Posted September 21, 2009 Fish are hard. You almost have to use a flash. To avoid the bounce back take the photos at a slight angle. That way the flash bounces away from you. Also you have to adjust your white balance for flash. This will help some with the color of your corals.
