Zarathustra2
Are you sure its tempered? I'd take the tank but really dont want to deal with overflows.
medi
Same here. I would take it if I were able to drill it.

Cameron
Well I really wish there a way I could be sure, I talked to the previous owner and he said he was sure it was tempered...I just wish there was a way I could be positive of it. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out other than by trial and error?
neal90
You could talk to the manufacturer, Most tanks are only tempered on the bottom. You could still make overflows on the back. Take a look at the display tank at Fish Business. My next tank will have over flows like his. Looks much nicer and takes up way less room in the tank
Zarathustra2
Never did it myself but a quick google search... http://www.salt-city.org/showthread.php?t=9542 And another good thread http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.pinball/browse_thread/thread/5bb962a44a949ec6?pli=
atxryan
do you still have the heaters??
msmmze
I heard that some glass companies can shoot a laser beam and check. Binswanger glass company may be able to to check it. They will also drill it for $20 per hole. It is at your own risk though.
