JamesL
Nice looking tank. I really like the freestanding rock islands in the middle. Do you have fish in the tank too? Lots of swimming room for them

jthedges
i HAD fish in the aquarium. had being the operative word. i got a very small long nosed butterfly from aquadome a while back and it apparently had ich, which was unnoticable at the time. it decimated all my fish except my tiny yellow clown goby (seen hiding amongst some palys in one pic). i had 3 ocellaris clowns, and a small foxface. may they rest in peace. now i have a healthy understanding of quarantine tanks! My sand is starting to get a brown rusted color algea on it. you using RO/DI? i found that when i switched to that from just plain old distilled and even tap (eek!) water, it made the diatoms (brown algae) go away within a matter of days. what kind of filtration do you have?
