+mcallahan Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 I'd bump up your wattage first. I'm running a 95W 5500K coiled CP bulband my chaeto grows so much I can almost see day to day the growth. I have a spare one as the bulbs only come in packs of two so when you drop off the frags, I can give it to you. I run mine for 12 hrs opposite of my tank lights. caferacermike Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 The "proper" method is to run opposite your tank lights. When they are off your fuge is on. This prevents all kinds of PH swings due to ecvessive amounts of CO2 in the water not being used up by algae. I run mine 24hours a day.
