Hi I am new to this site. I am currently in the process of setting up my 60 gallon tank. I want to do mostly lps and softies not really looking to do sps I have a pretty small budget I am working with. What kind of light would be good for this, and I do not have a chiller so I am looking for something that will not be too hot. And I want it to have the dusk dawn ability. thanks for your help!

Welcome to the site! You will find plenty of helpful and friendly folks on here. As for your lighting, you wouldn't need anything too powerful. A good T5 setup would probably be the way that I would go. We were using a T5 setup on our tank for a while and recently switched over to MH, so if your interested, it is available for sale.

How much is your setup going for? and do you have pics or details

Thanks Robb. I think that is the way I want to go but I just want to be certain before I spend $300 that could have gone towards a MH fixture. I either want two of the 48" Hagen Glo double light fixtures at 216 watts or the Current Nova Extreme at 324 watts.
