polyp extension... good or bad?

ive got some monti cap and monti hispida (warp seed) that has got some insane polyp extension. you can see the individual polyps.... is that good or bad? whats causing it?

Yes, it is good. That usually indicates that the coral is happy; probably in the right amount of light and current if they're fully extended. When the lights are off, corals usually tend to extend their polyps even more to feed at night. A lot of them come to find it safer because there isn't anything to nip at them.
