chiu
Err....Maybe I should have started this topic in the ReefKeeping forum instead of the General Discussion. Can I have a moderator delete the one in General Discussion? Anyways... ---- Hi ARC, Not exactly new, I was here a few years ago when I started my 45 gallon reef tank. Now 3 babies later (2 twin girls, and a new baby girl) and with an overcrowded 45 gallon reef, I am starting a new 90 gallon reef tank. I went with a cherry oceanic 90 gallon tank. Instead of live rock, I went with ceramic rock and I will be seeding it with live rock from my 45. I will be putting a 48" aquactinics constellation fixture on it which is coming next week. Here are some pics... enoy! chiu Base Rock Rock with reef plates added Top Left View Top Right View Top Middle View

chark
I like the rock work. Great light. What bulbs are you running?
+Dena
WOW, I love the rock work! I tried to get that look a couple times...came close, not quite as nice as yours though. I kept adding to the tank and moving stuff around and now it's nothing like I wanted it. That's always the joy of setting up a new system. Where did you get those ceramic pieces?? I think the rock configuation came out really good. I got the ceramic pieces from Aquaroche at Aquarium Specialty. The rocks were really a good deal. Shipping ultimately killed the deal for me and made the price to be about the same as premium live rock. Still...I am glad that I went ahead and took the plunge and got the rocks. chiu
