cmanning
Hey versace, We use this type of water pump from homedepot. We actually have to use 2 pumps since our pond is a little over 3,500 gallons. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores...uctId=100211179

cmanning
The Flotec 4/10 Horsepower, 3000 GPH Waterfall Utility Pump using 360 watts. So far we only replaced both pumps once (on different occasion) in 8 yrs, since the pond was installed. These pumps were left running 24/7 year round. In the year, the pump price went from $89 to $129. I don't know if it's the best but it sure outlasted the mag drives we had for a little while. Kkiel02
I built a very similar pond to that way back in high school for my parents house... We got our pump Water Garden Gems off IH10 in between san antonio and seguin. Its a magdrive(dont know the actual numbers it produces) but its been going strong with no maintance for over 10 years now. Honestly I dont know hows it still working but it is.
