don duncan
My reactor is leaking around the top. I have secured the screws down. Should I treat the gaskets with anything to avoid leaks. It is a slow drip

cmanning
Make sure that there's no gritty residue from the calcium build up or small particles of media. Then you can use silicone grease on your rubber gaskets/o-rings to keep them flexible and get a good seal. -Cindy-
Entropy
I use olive oil as well although I soak the gastket in it and then wipe it off to get most of it off. Learned that from the old rock tumbler.
