AndrewT
I now have a total of 6 5" fans in my canopy... Ive been running my 2 400 watt mhs for about 6 hrs a day and the tanks been sitting right at 78 degrees. Can running 6 5" fans have any downside beside the noise? caferacermike
higher electrical bill, but hardly noticeable. I'd think that the noise would drive you insane.
landfish
If you go to a computer supply store like frys or Altex they have some "silent" cpu case fans. They usually are < 30 db and work well for canopy cooling fans
AndrewT
The fans are pretty quite the cpu fans are putting off more noise than the radioshack fans. The cpu fans Kinda have an annoying buzz to them. Other than that theyre not to bad
