Best media for a Phosphate reactor

Now that I've upgraded to several types of SPS, I've realized I really need to get a phosphate reactor to keep these guys healthy. I thought I could go without it, but after running 4 rounds of a phosphate sponge through a HOB filter, my phosphates dropped to .1, then came back to .5ppm within 24 hrs.

My question is those of you running a phosphate reactor, what brand of media do you recommend? Also, how often do you change your media?

I use Little Fishies PhosBan. Change it approximately every three months.
