+Jimbo662
You can also put something over it to block the light. Or if you can remove the rock and let the nem hang upside down over a container of tank water with it just barely touching the water it'll eventually drop. Timfish
You might have to resort to peeling it off the rock it's on. It can take a few minutes but a thumpnail or a credit card can help to carefully get under the foot and gradually peel it off.
+FluxCapacitor
I was reading somewhere that people "catching" them in the gulf of mexico were using ice cubes to make them let go. I haven't done this myself but I imagine if you put an ice cube around where it's foot is held onto the rock it'll release without much of an issue. Best bet is to use your fingernail or edge of a credit card. Just keep bothering the foot and it will eventually let go to get away from you.
