uscgbeachbum
Looking for a melanurus wrasse or other non-jumping Halichoeres wrasse. Ideally in NW Austin.
FarmerTy
Not haliochoeres but coris... And I live in Northcental Austin... so close enough on both accounts I say. uscgbeachbum
Ty, I've been eyeballing your elegant wrasse. However, from the interweb it looks like they can grow up to 12"+. How long have you had it for?
FarmerTy
Not sure where you found that info but it is the smallest of all the coris wrasses and should only attain 7.5" max. And keep in mind when a max number is stated that most will never attain that size. That's like saying people will hit a max size of 7'6" like Yao Ming. [emoji4] I picked her up about 2 months ago so I haven't had her long. She came in with a bunch of other wrasses I picked up from someone getting out of the hobby. She's gone through tank transfer method and prazipro so she should be ich and intestinal worm/fluke free. She eats prepared foods and goes after NLS pellets as well. Very inquisitive and smart fish and is very curious about the world around her.
