ceastman
So somehow I have baby feather dusters that are growing in my sump....I am thinking about moving some to my display tank but I am concerned that they are really small and their tubes will break if I try and get them off the acrylic and move them to the display tank. Thoughts? Just leave them until they are bigger or use an old credit card to dislodge them or something entirely different?
+KimP
Can you put some rocks or rubble down there? They'll grow on the rock and you can move the rock into your DT.
FarmerTy
Credit card will work just fine. They'll rebuild any tubes that get destroyed. If it's the common brown tube with white fans feather duster, be careful, they can go plague like in the DT without a predator.
ceastman
these are white tubes with red heads. most likely came from the florida live rock sourced from the gulf.

jestep
Aren't these just spaghetti worms out in the open? i get them on the glass if I don't clean it often enough.

I have some in my sump as well.

Gig 'em @ NDstructible
Don't those have calcium based tubes? I feel like that may be difficult to scrape off the glass without causing real damage to them. A razor blade should work well too.
mFrame
They reproduce like crazy and will repair a damaged tube (they abandon it and just go make a new one). As long as you don't squash them they'll be fine.
