Brooks
Not quite sure. What is it like when it's open? Either Zoanthid, Palys, or GSP.
jestep
Pipe organ, GSP, or some gorgonian would be my guesses.

Gindack
Yeah the tips are like a green feathery thing when it opens up. hasn't done so in my tank yet, only saw it open in the LFS.

Gindack
How long does it usually take for them to get adjusted? My Zoanthid and Xenia opened up within a few hours, not a single one on this guy.
FarmerTy
They aren't the most keen to changes but practically unkillable. You'll probably start seeing them come out in about a week.
Gindack
Since they are pretty hard to kill do I need to adjust them to the lights I have by slowly moving them up, or should I just place them where I finally want it to go now? FarmerTy
I used to keep mine on the sand and away from all other rocks. It'll overtake any area you put it on and smother other corals out. It really doesn't need a ton of light so the sandbed is usually good in most tanks, unless you have dimmer lighting.
Gindack
Do they do well on back of the tank wall? Edited February 23, 2016 by Gindack
BornToHula
Do they do well on back of the tank wall? Yes, it will grow up on the wall and do well. It doesn't need much light, I have some growing in my sump that is lit just 4 hours a day from a home depot LED bulb, If you do grow it on rocks be very careful because it spreads fast and is very hard to remove once it does. I've tried kalkpaste and even scrubbed it off with a metal brush and can get 100% off.
