+Mlaw
One of my Jaebos died on me. Not sure why, but I need a replacement. I have a 200 gallon tank that is about 6 foot long, 2 foot high and 2 foot wide. I have a lot of rock structures that break up the flow. I'm considering a gyre but have concerns. It's a steep entry price and apparently not Apex compatible. I don't currently run with an Apex, although I own 2. Just haven't had time to set them up, but I want to and don't want to spend a lot on a device that won't work with them. Any thoughts?
jestep
Jebao RW's have been working well for me so far. The RW20 has some pretty crazy flow for the price. I would think that if you get the correct frequency, one should easily be enough for that size tank. I use a RW15 on my 90 gallon and I have to have the flow turned almost all the way down when I have the correct frequency of wave.
Juiceman
I Like the RW as well. Will Not Purchase another WP
jestep
I Like the RW as well. Will Not Purchase another WP Yeah, I'm with you there. Have had several go out on me. RW's seem to be better quality and definitely better profile than the WP's. Either way, you're still buying a budget pump compared to a tunze or vortech, but it's also at a fraction of the cost. +Mlaw
looks like a RW 20 on Amazon is going to run a bit over $100. Should I just pony up the extra $150 and buy the Gyre?
Steelrain
I just bought a Gyre. I haven't set it up yet. I'll let you know how it works.
+reeflover
eBay is only $85 for the rw20. Thinking about selling my gyre 150 for $220, only used 4 months and have receipt from brs when I bought it new, didn't start to use the gyre right away till my wp40 broken. Reason because just bought a Neptune wav kit. Like to try it out with apex.
