pabloescolar
Anybody know what this is? It is most certainly alive, the polyps extend and retract although only minimally. It came along with some "dead" coral that was full of sponges and brittle stars that I got from FarmerTy as a sump seeder. He wasn't sure what it was either. The particular piece pictured was loose in a bucket and I glued it down to a frag plug, but interestingly, on the backside of the birdsnest cluster, this same species was grafted in to one edge like it had grown into (or out of) the birds nest! pabloescolar
Here's a picture with a little bit of full spectrum light. The polyps are withdrawn at the moment, but when extended are like tiny short tentacles around the rim, almost like eyelashes.
