offroadodge Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 Well I dont know what happened but i left Friday night to go to the lake and tank looked fine, Got home today and my HUGE Dessera clam was open but its mantel was sucked in. All to find an emerald crab eating at what was its foot. DANGIT..CRAP...cant believe it. It was one of the prettiest clams id seen. So let me know what ya think. FishyCat Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 I'm sorry to hear that. I had to remove my emerald because he ate a bunch of my zoas. This was despite additional feedings of nori. He may have been hungry. IME they become aggressive about their food the older they get. Again sorry for you loss. I hope that helps explain it some.
