Juiceman
Check this out?! http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/automatic-roller-mat-theiling.html?trk_msg=GSR5B9KPMFOKDEG6TPIEEEBVI4&trk_contact=BSU13EO5RJSNCOH221BMV3A378&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=SHOP+NOW&utm_campaign=education&utm_content=newprod_111915 Seems like a cool idea but.... That price Tag! Plus I think you'd need a few of them for a big tank.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
BornToHula
Interesting. At that price point I'm not interested, but it looks like an improvement over changing filter socks every day. I wonder if it starts to smell towards the end of the filter roll.
FarmerTy
Yowzers! I'll stick to running filter socks... Oh wait... I don't run socks. I wonder if I buy the Mindstream and the Oceanswipe 360 glass cleaner, will they throw this in for free? How much money do they think reefer's have? LarryD
That is interesting, a while back brs had a video from macna about this or something like it except there was no motor it just had a water wheel and when the water got high enough because the floss was clogged it would advance. I am pretty sure it was the same company so I wonder what caused the change.
victoly
Just a take on the rotary drum filter. They've been in use in wastewater, industrial water treatment and koi ponds for quite some time. I'm not sure that the complexity is worth the benefit, not to mention the cost.
+olaggie01
I believe Deltec had a similar product a while back but it never hit the US. Seems that Theiling might have picked it up.
