Staining stand and canopy

Well hello!

Today is a perfect day to rejoice. I just received my 120g aquarium from glasscages with stand and canopy ^_^ .

But the sad part of the day is that i need it to be stained. So does anybody know a company that stains furnitures, or

do any of y'all know how to do it?

This is the stand and canopy:

And this is the color we need to match. (The pictures make it seem like to different shades, but one has the sun in the background and the other was taken with the "background light" mode)

ANY HELP OR INFO WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!

Staining isn't that hard to do, especially on a stand and canopy that doesn't have a lot of intricate detail to it. Basically, you want to sand the stand and canopy, starting with about a medium grit, and finish with a fine grit (220 or so). Put on a coat or two of stain, depending on how dark you want it, with a light sanding in between. Put on a couple coats of brush-on polyurethane with a light sanding in between, and you're done. Materials shouldn't run over about $30.
