+dapettit
I'm shooting with a Nikon D80 and was wondering how to set the white balance? I currently run a Reeflux 12K and an SPS 14K 250 watt bulbs. All of my photos are coming out real blue. Should I also be shooting in RAW? Any help is appreciated. Dave-
+ACampbell
I don't know about the Nikon setting, but I run Reeflux 12ks and agree the photo will come out blue without WB adjustment. I set my XTi two points away from the blue (A2) and I like the result.
princer7
I shoot using RAW and do not worry about color correcting in the camera. Most of that can be done in post processing.
GKarshens
If you have Photoshop CS2 or newer you can set the WB to the Kelvin you want it when you shoot RAW. If not you can set the WB on the camera to as close as possible. My D200 has a setting where I can set the Kelvin rating up to 10,000K. My old D100 didn't have that but according to the manual if you set it to Cloudy +3 it is 9800K. That was the setting I used it and it worked well.
