Prepping for a 12" Achilles tang that I will get in a couple weeks or so

Whoever interested in getting a 10-12" plus achilles tang for only 150$ ! Let me know my diver catches them weekly .

In my opinion jumbo or show size adult fish like the achilles you're getting should only go in VERY LARGE systems, as hundreds and hundreds or thousands of gallons. We're talking about a mature fish that has already developed set behviour patterns based on interacting with other large fish and having a huge amount of space to swim in. Very different from getting a juvenile fish and growing it up in aquariums so it's used to a smaller space and if there are issues and it needs to be rehomed it will be much more likely an adequate home can be found. Additionally getting such large fish it should be expected to have a shorter life expectancies.

I completely agree with Timfish. I would not put an Achilles that is even 8" in a tank your size. Or even double the size of yours for that matter.

x3 on this being too much fish for the tank it's going in. Might consider asking him to use smaller bait?

Very sensitive fish... Will more than likely pass in QT or shortly after going into the display.

Would be better to put a 4" hippo in a biocube, would live much longer.
