TheOceanTraveler
Anyone know how old these eggs might be and what I need to try to raise them? Just saw them tonight didn't even know my clowns had started dating much less taken it to the next level. See bad photo
FarmerTy
They look newly hatched to a couple days old. Mine usually start out bright orange when first laid and then start turning dark gray as it progresses. I have never tried to raise them but I'm sure there are a million articles on raising clowfish eggs through various forums. Congrats on being a grandmother! TheOceanTraveler
1/2 the eggs gone today. I think I will try to be prepared for next time and see if I can raise up some Texas Clownfish. Goal for 2015.
Timfish
Congradulations! Any unfertalized eggs will turn white in a day or so but if the male is doing his job they will disappear. You should see the silver eye spots develop roughly 24 hours before they hatch so you'll have an idea of when you have to be ready.
