TheOceanTraveler
Hi, I have a hand-me-down skimmer that is missing the piece that attaches the pump in the water to the pipe. There is a threaded cap that screws into something and then attaches to the pump. That is the part that is missing. If unable to find the part does anyone have a spare or a good in-expensive in-sump skimmer for a 75g with a 29g sump? Thanks
+brian.srock
Pics? I would contact the company and see how much the part will be though but I'm sure we can find something to work for it at the hardware store

TheOceanTraveler
Do you think I could take the two pieces I need to put together to Home Depot and they can hook me up? Anything special I would need to tell them?
+brian.srock
It usually depends on if anyone is available and how knowledgeable they are but yea take it there and see what they can do.
Neon Reefer
I have found Lowes has a much better selection of small plumbing parts that fit bulkheads and such...only problem is skimmers usually takes pump parts which are normally a different thread and size. I've got lots of old plumbing parts for pumps so pictures of what 2 ends you are trying to connect may help, but usually I need the equipment to try and jerry rig something together.
