update

I bridged my router so that I won't have to mess with TWC's modem. This also changed my external IP address, so if anyone would like to watch my fig tree grow it is now at

http://173.174.76.86:50200/
user: admin
password: password

You can follow the steps in post #24 or simply do the following to bypass TWC's modem
1) Log into the router at http://192.168.0.1/
user: admin
password: password

2) LAN >> Under NAT select "Bridged"

Once you save the settings, the TWC's modem page will not refresh like you think it will and the modem is no longer accessible unless you do a hard reset.

Sorry to jack your thread and turn it into a networking tutorial

Just a reminder, change your default passwords and make it unique to this device. If you broadcast your IP, and use a similar password to your Apex, for example, best case scenario I get in there and make your tank strobe. Worst case someone with nefarious intentions messes up your tank. Not a likely scenario, for sure, but a little safety here could go a long way.
