fightinghippo
I have a asm g2 skimmer but the impeller got stuck in the pump. Does anyone have the sedra 3500 pump or a skimmer that u want to sell?
Juiceman
Like you need a new impeller? Or do you really need a new pump? The impeller doesn't cost much if that's all you need.
FarmerTy
Once those impellers get stuck in the pump, it's crazy hard to remove them as they expand and jam in place. I tried drilling it out once to no avail as it just damaged the pump housing itself.
Sascha D.
I had an ASM g-4x and I was told that once the impeller goes out you have to replace the whole pump. I've tried taking them apart before and it's super hard. Replacement impellers and pumps can be found on their website. I don't recommend ebay. FarmerTy
I've replaced an impeller just fine on an ASM G-3 and on an ASM G-1. Something like the impeller cracking is easy to remedy. It's when you have a bloated impeller jammed in the pump housing is when I consider that almost impossible to fix.
fightinghippo
It's jammed pretty tight. Tried pulling it out but it won't budge :-(
