mFrame
Heading to ACL this weekend and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a telescoping windsock pole to mark our location. Any suggestions?

ckyuv
I have a university of Michigan flag you can borrow. You'll have the best flag out there. if not I'll be looking for your windsock

mFrame
http://www.harborfreight.com/20-ft-telescoping-flag-pole-kit-95598.html Yeah, saw it but I'm not carrying that beast! I found fiberglass/shock cord replacement tent poles at Academy for $5. I bought two and connected them. They aren't rigid enough to hold anything super heavy, but will be more than enough for the shark and clownfish windsocks we're attaching to the top. So if you see a bald guy holding a pole with a shark and clownfish, come up and say hi, and everyone enjoy the weather and the show!
+o0zarkawater
Yeah, a friend had just mentioned trying that. But I'm not risking breaking my poles. But if you found cheap replacements that sounds like a good idea. Maybe even duct tape a few together? ckyuv
Croppy poles work well to. They are cheap fiberglass poles you can raise and lower! They are light and collapse so are easy to pack
