Sherita Posted September 26, 2013 Author Share Posted September 26, 2013 Mine are in my shallow acrylic tanks under leds. I run my leds turned WAY down. Most scolys like lower light and very low flow (at least mine do). My experience has been that the low flow thing is very important, their flesh is quite fragile, and if they are catching a lot (or even some) flow, they may tear. And even if the flesh isn't damaged, if they are getting too much flow they won't come out, and will eventually just wither and die. My three came from a tank that was being shut down after a crash. They were pretty shriveled, and really, really mad. Within 3 days of getting them home and into my tanks they poofed out and are quite pleased with themselves.
