victoly
Picture of the setup ? Check for blockages in the line. Check that in/out are correct. Check that the air release hole in the top of the lid isn't jammed with crap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
bigmike015
This is my first time to change the media since I installed it. Everything was working fine till I replaced them. The water on the outside if the media chamber won't fill up with water. I don't know what the air release hole is so I'm pulling them off again and looking in there for blockage and anything off. victoly
Is the case that holds the carbon clear or opaque ? Pics would be helpful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
bige
It doesn't need to fill up to work but you can burp it. Just unscrew it and let it fill up. That's what spectre pure told me. But mine only fills a quarter inch.
bigmike015
I took the carbon side off and looked at the top of the bracket and there was a little hole in the top. Stuck a needle through it and seems like its working better. I also did have to unscrew it to let the rest of the air out. Everything seems to be working fine now
+SChrisEV
It does not look like you have a sponge on the top of the carbon, do you? If you do not you need one, it will keep the carbon out of the outlet and should let water flow through. My dual reactor is the BRS version and I water completely fills the second canister, not sure how it would work if it did not. Also what victoly said, ensure no clogs from the inlet pump to it. What is driving your dual reactor?
bigmike015
There is a pad at the top of the carbon. It is the brs with the mj-1200. I did clear the hole in the top of the lid.
Jimbo662
Is there a pad at the bottom of the carbon? I always set mine up so that the carbon his held up at the top of the chamber.
bigmike015
It's up there just hard to see, I to it all primes and hooked back up! Good to know about those holes!
