Nwehrman Posted June 18, 2013 Share Posted June 18, 2013 I breed Bettas - you have some good advice on here. It's an algae bloom - common in new tanks or how old is your light? Because the spectrum changes the older it gets. Also over feeding can encourage it. I have Bettas in Jars and small tanks up to a 150 gallon tank. Bpb Posted June 19, 2013 Share Posted June 19, 2013 If my 75 gallon didn't have tiger barbs in it id stock it with nothing but bettas and angelfish. Bettas are only mean in close quarters to their own kind. I've kept them in the past with guppies even and had no issues. Your results may vary of course.
