Jason & Amber
So the new tank is a 185g has 2 drains and 2 returns. I am going to build the sump my self just grab a cheap tank and install baffles. planning on running skimmer and reactors and possibly a refugium to help with ph swings. How big of a tank should I get to build the sump out of?

Robb in Austin
As big as you can put under there(assuming you want it under the tank). If I was doing it, I'd try for a 75. I stuck a 30g under my 75. Obviously, if you setup a fuge/sump remotely that gives you more options.
