It has a Sicce 2500 that has the usual start up issues and is currently using a carbon fiber rod shaft. The ceramic one broke, and this is what I threw in there. I think Marine Depot carries them off and on for $20ish. Pump definitely works, but may need assistance starting up (I used a bamboo skewer in the volute to help it). It worked fine other than that on my 135, but in my opinion, it was a little oversized for my tank and bioload. It's made to run with the 2500, so if you have one laying around, this could work out great. $125 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
