Dave.stevens Posted February 20, 2013 Share Posted February 20, 2013 Guppy Dave here, I woke this morning to a wet floor and found that my sump has a crack in it. So needless to say I am looking for a new sump that will support my 150 gl tank. I have called around and so far the cheapest is about 270.00 which is not in the budget right now. So I need some help in this. Ideas on how to keep the tank going or some kind of better price. Right now I have it circulating in a plastic container, but don't want to keep it up since there is no filtering going on. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Elite Reefer, Actually it was a plastic one that was about 10 years old. Like the tank it was a gift from a very good friend. Performed well so I think it was just old. Also you can buy a used 55g and silicone in baffles and you should be under $100... It has worked great for me. If you have questions on how to do this, let me know...
