Juiceman
Most of them are safe as long as they have time to cure before being put to use.
Pailines
I've use the purple and clear cement, work great but unpleasing to the eyes, heard there is a clear type.. but not sure its inertness..
Pailines
forgot to add, let cure for 48 hours atleast, dry no water at all. Then after flush the pvcs with tons of water, to get ride of the two parts glue.
(Bio)³
no need to use the primer for our applications, but if you must then you can stop by crumps and get clear primer.

Timfish
I use the blue wet/dry pvc cement. I've had to use it on existing systems when something has broken or when moving a system without any apparent effect on the corals or fish but whenever possible i would give it time to cure. +brian.srock
You can also paint the pvc and the paint will cure the same time the glue cures. Just scuff up the pipe a bit and your good.
