reefer74 Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 Recently purchased a Fluval Spec 5 for my office and want to upgrade the return pump which is 85 gph. I read that a minijet 606 will fit into the small compartment and provide a better flow. Does anyone have one they have hiding in the garage somewhere or maybe know of an equal pump which could work? reefer74 Posted February 3, 2013 Author Share Posted February 3, 2013 with such a small foot print on that fluval and with such limited info on anyone using this tank and upgraded pumps the only one that I have read so far that anyone had even used was the mini 606.....I have gotten Shane up at fishy business to build me a small canopy to mount my panorama pro led module to that fits right over it and I even bought some of that nice live rock he has to scape it and I really like it. I just know I need that additional flow. I'll take whichever fits...I pretty much have a two inch square to fit it into, maybe just slightly bigger.
